Patients may pay their bill anytime through the patient portal.
The Wellness Place bills your insurance as a courtesy. However, patients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage and benefits. Prior to beginning services, call your insurance carrier and ask:
- What are my mental health benefits?
- How much is my copay (the fixed amount a policy holder pays for a service)?
- How much is my deductible (the cost a policy holder pays before the insurance carrier covers expenses)?
- How much does my insurance pay towards seeing an out-of-network provider?
